Dr. Anderson’s journey into dentistry began in Eugene, also known as the birthplace of Nike and home to the University of Oregon. His father was an accomplished dentist who encouraged him to consider the profession. He began working in his Dad’s lab while still in high school.
“Working for my Dad at a young age opened my eyes to the profound impact dentistry has on people’s overall health, well-being, and self-confidence. I saw how science and dental artistry intersect to restore a person’s smile, and equally important, how that experience creates a relationship of trust between the doctor and patient. These early impressions influenced my philosophy today as an endodontist. I am passionate about connecting with my patients on a personal level, ensuring that every visit is a comfortable and positive experience.”
Dr. Anderson’s approach to Endodontics focuses on science-based research and clinical evidence to support treatment decisions, along with a strong understanding of the restorative influences on the outcome.
“Endodontic success is largely related to evaluating the health of the remaining tooth structure, maintaining it through conservative techniques, and being honest with patients about what the long-term prognosis is before initiating treatment. I want my patients to know that if we treat a compromised tooth, it’s going to last a long time.”
Dr. Anderson now considers himself a true Californian. He embraces the emphasis on health, fitness and recreation combined with his Northwest love of the outdoors. He especially enjoys the beautiful beaches and feels fortunate that his practice is located so close to the ocean. What to expect
Your First Visit To Our Office
We offer a simple check-in experience in our comfortable waiting area, and we also offer digital forms to cut down on paperwork. Once you arrive and check in, our team will greet you and take you to our operating room. You’ll be greeted with ocean views, beautiful decor, and our state-of-the-art operating chair. We even have a guest seating area, so you can bring a loved one with you for your comfort. Our dental team and Dr. Robert Anderson will take things from there and assess your endodontic issue. We’ll come up with a treatment plan, discuss financial obligations and payment options, and recommend the appropriate solution for your tooth pain or any other endodontic issue.
What To Bring To Your Appointment
If you print and fill out your forms at home instead of filling them out online, make sure that you bring them in with you. You’ll also want to bring your insurance card (if applicable), and a method of payment if any co-pays or other up-front payments are necessary. You’re also welcome to bring a guest with you, and they can stay with you both while you wait for your appointment and during your visit.

Dr. Anderson believes that service to the community extends beyond the doors of private practice. This is why he has traveled on mission trips to Central America, served as Volunteer Coordinator for Northwest Medical Teams mobile dental clinic, served as Chair of Community Outreach for the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, and regularly volunteers at Give Kids a Smile events hosted by the CDA.
